Facilities
The Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy (AU-II) is proposing to cancel and archive
Department of Energy (DOE) Handbook (HDBK) 1113-2008, Radiological Safety Trail/il/gfor
UraniulII Facilities, and submits this proposal for review and comment in accordance with
Teclmical Standards Program (TSP) procedures.
Based on the cOlJunents received from the RevCom review of the proposed revision of
DOE-HDBK-1113, AU-II stafflearned that this handbook is not directly used as a training
guide and, therefore, is not actively managed by the TSP. This handbook should be cancelled as
an active document and be archived on the TSP Web site.
The normal 60-day comment period is requested once the document is posted and available in
RevCom.
