This site is an independent archive of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Technical Standards, maintained by Doxcelerate Corporation. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the U.S. Department of Energy or any other agency of the United States government. What this archive holds

This archive preserves the published history of the DOE technical standards series — standards, handbooks, and guides — including superseded and cancelled documents that are no longer easy to find, or no longer available at all, on the official site. Documents are kept with their relationships intact: what a standard supersedes, what superseded it, and what it relates to, along with a glossary of terms. Links to documents from earlier eras of these systems continue to work here through redirects, so citations and bookmarks made years ago still resolve.

This archive is a research and reference tool, not an authoritative source; it is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or currency. Verify the current, controlling version of any document with the official DOE Technical Standards Program before relying on it.
