CALLAHAN SUBJECT: DIRECTOR OFFICE OF SECURITY OFFICE OF ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH, SAFETY AND SECURITY Change Notice 2 to DOE-STD-1213-2014, "Protective Force Contingency Planning Technical Standard' This memorandum forwards "Change Notice Number 2" (CN2) for DOE-STD-1213 -2014, in accordance with Department of Energy' s (DOE) Technical Standards Program Procedures "Maintenance of DOE Technical Standards" (DOE-TSPP-7-2013) Section 4.2.1. This CN2 incorporates updated names and current references and reformatting of the title page in this Standard. These resulted with the publication of DOE Order (0) 470.3C, Design Basis Threat, DOE O 470.4B, Chg. 2, Safeguards and Security Program, and DOE O 473.3A, Chg. 1, Protection Program Operations. The update also incorporates lessons learned from the recent protective force work stoppage at the Savannah River Site. An electronic file in Microsoft Word format is included with this memorandum.
