McARTHUR, PhD, if a 4 DIRECTOR j OFFICE OF WORKER SAF ETY AND HEALTH POLICY OFFICE OF HEALTH AnD SAFETY SUBJECT: Cancellation to the Department of Energy Handbook 1140-2001, Human Factors/Ergonomics Handbook for Design for Ease of Maintenance The Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy approves cancellation of Department of Energy Handbook (DOE-HDBK) 1140-2001, Human Factors/Ergonomics Handbook for Design for Ease of Maintenance, and archiving its contents. DOE-HDBK 1140-2001 was placed in RevCom for 60 days recommending cancellation and archiving. The RevCom results conclude that all the responding program offices concur with cancellation. This standard is currently not being used by DOE sites and contractors as a training guide and, therefore, does not need to be actively managed.
