This Standard was distributed in November 2018, but has since been corrected to be consistent with DOE Order 473.3A, Protection Program Operations, regarding the requirement for duty weapons to have a round in the chamber in certain cases, and for auxiliary weapons to remain free of rounds in the chamber. The correction is intended to mitigate any potential for related operational or safety issues. Copies of the Standard with a November date should be discarded. 2.
