Dear Mr. Williams:
Please find enclosed a Department of Energy (DOE) Reaffirmation, with Errata, of
DOE-STD-1128-98, Guide for Occupational Radiological Protection in Plutonium
Facilities (Enclosure 1), which has been approved by Mr. Rick C. Jones. Mr. Jones’
memorandum dated April 28, 2003 (Enclosure 2) documents this action. Also enclosed
is a disk for the Reaffirmation.
After reviewing the DOE Reaffirmation for standards program consistency, I am
approving it for indexing, printing, and distribution. Please take the necessary action to
have the enclosed technical standard finalized in accordance with established procedures.
