Facilities
The Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy (AU-11) proposes to cancel Department of
Energy (DOE) Handbook (HDBK) 1108-2002, Radiological Safety Training for Accelerator
Facilities, in accordance with Technical Standards Program (TSP) procedures. AU-11 staff
learned that this handbook is not directly used as a training guide. Any Office that still needs the
document should be willing to assume the Preparing Activity responsibility for future document
maintenance. I request the normal 60-day comment period.
