Cancellation of Department of Energy Handbook 1108-2002,
Radiological Safety Training for Accelerator Facilities
The Office of Worker Safety and Health Policy (AU-11) approves cancellation of
Department of Energy Handbook (DOE-HDBK) 1108-2002, Radiological Safety Training for
Accelerator Facilities, and archiving its contents.
DOE-HDBK 1108-2002 was placed in RevCom for 60 days recommending cancellation and
archiving. The RevCom results conclude that all responding program offices concur with
cancellation. This standard is currently not being used by DOE sites and contractors as a training
guide and, therefore, does not need to be actively managed.
